Taylor Russell has been cast as the leading lady in Michael B. Jordan’s upcoming reimagining of The Thomas Crown Affair. Mara Brock Akil’s new drama series ‘Forever’ finally has an official release date! The highly anticipated series is set to premiere May 8 on Netflix and is part of Akil’s overall Netflix deal. Academy Award winner Regina King has reportedly directed the first episode, and she is also credited as one of the executive producers for the show. The series, starring Lovie Simone and Michael Cooper Jr., is an eponymous contemporary adaptation and reimagining of Judy Blume’s classic 1975 novel about a budding romance between two teens. 

NBC has officially ordered a pilot for a new single-camera comedy starring and executive produced by Tracy Morgan. The project reunites Morgan with his former 30 Rock collaborators, including co-showrunners Tina Fey and Robert Carlock, along with writer Sam Means.
