The story follows Charles Blakey (Hawkins), an African American man grappling with financial hardship and on the verge of losing his ancestral home. Desperate to stay afloat, he rents out his basement to a mysterious white businessman, Anniston Bennet (Dafoe), and this sets off a chain of events that leads him down a dark path.

The film also features Anna Diop, Tamara Lawrence, Brian Bovell, Gershwyn Eustache Jnr, Jonathan Ajayi, Pamela Nomvete, Shellia Kennedy, Kayla Meikle, Miah Hasselbaink, and more.

The screenplay is co-written by Mosley and Latif, with B.O.B. FilmHouse, Protagonist Pictures, and Good Gate Media producing. The film will be released in theaters and on Hulu soon.
