Jonathan Daviss Cast As Snoop Dogg In Universal’s Upcoming Biopic

Universal Pictures is gearing up to bring the story of hip-hop icon Snoop Dogg to the big screen, with Jonathan Daviss set to star as the rap legend in this highly anticipated biopic.

The film will trace Snoop Dogg's journey in the West Coast hip-hop scene and his meteoric rise to global fame. The biopic is produced by Snoop Dogg, Brian Grazer, and Sara Ramaker, with Craig Brewer directing.

This project marks the first feature from Death Row Pictures’ overall deal with NBCUniversal Entertainment & Studios, launching the label’s expansion into feature films.
