Viola Davis To Be Inducted Into The Television Academy Hall Of Fame

EGOT-winning actress, producer, and cultural icon Viola Davis will be inducted into the Television Academy’s 27th Hall of Fame on August 16.

The Television Academy Hall of Fame, established in 1984, honors individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the arts, sciences or management of television, whether through a lifetime career or singular achievements. Honorees include performers, directors, producers, costume designers, writers, animators, executives, news reporters, and others who demonstrate extraordinary work in the television industry.

Davis joins a distinguished group of more than 180 honorees in the Hall of Fame. Congratulations, Viola Davis!
