Tyler Perry Studios Partners With Director Courtney Glaude; Feature Film, ‘For Love’ Set As First Project
Tyler Perry Studios has signed a deal with director, writer, and producer Courtney Glaude, appointing him as Executive Creator of Scripted and Unscripted content. Glaude, known for his work on The Reading, will develop and produce both television and film projects for the studio. His first project under the new partnership is A Love, a psychological thriller addressing domestic violence rooted in childhood experiences. Production is set to begin next year.
Paramount Global Expands Partnership With Ice Cube And Cube Vision
Paramount Global is broadening its collaboration with Ice Cube and his production company, Cube Vision. Under a new first-look deal for television, Cube and his producing partner, Jeff Kwatinetz, will create and executive produce content for broadcast, cable, and streaming platforms across Paramount. Their first project, currently in development at Showtime Studios, is an untitled scripted series exploring the competitive world of Hollywood through the Black experience, highlighting the lengths characters go to for power and fame.
