Katt Williams Purchases Former Military Base In Alabama To Launch Movie Studio

Comedian and actor Katt Williams is making bold moves toward building his own entertainment empire with the purchase of a former military base in Alabama. While details about the exact location and price remain undisclosed, the property is speculated to be the Cold War-era barracks at Fort McClellan in Anniston, previously listed for $1.5 million.

Williams’ publicist, Amy Sisoyev, confirmed the acquisition, stating, “I can confirm that he has purchased a former military base in Alabama.”

In a recent interview with GQ, Williams shared his vision for the project, emphasizing the importance of diversifying the entertainment landscape. “It’s just not fair to put all that pressure on Tyler Perry. He can only do so much,” Williams explained, highlighting his intent to contribute to the industry by creating opportunities for others, much like Perry has done with Tyler Perry Studios.

This ambitious move marks a significant step in Williams’ journey to becoming a powerhouse in film and television production. More info to come.
