Black Sands Entertainment And Composition Media Enter Multi-Million Dollar Deal To Produce African Anime Content

Black comic book publisher Black Sands Entertainment, and Composition Media have entered into a multi-million dollar deal to produce anime content that celebrates African heritage.

Their first project is a series adaptation of the comic BLACK SANDS: THE SEVEN KINGDOMS — a geopolitical tale that follows a young boy who aspires to rule Kemet. His ambition leads him on a journey to distant lands in the ancient world, where he grapples with complex issues involving wars and ancient gods who seek his demise.

Black Sands Entertainment, founded by Army veterans Manuel and Geiszel Godoy, previously secured investment from Kevin Hart and Mark Cuban after appearing on ABC’s SHARK TANK. This partnership with Composition Media marks Black Sands Entertainment's first venture into the anime space.
