Chris Rock Officially Signs With WME For Representation Across All Media Formats

Chris Rock has officially joined WME for comprehensive representation across acting, directing, comedy touring, books, and more. This move comes after his long-time agent, Eddy Yablans, was affected by the CAA layoffs in December. Yablans, who represented Rock for 30 years through ICM and later CAA, has since joined LBI Entertainment as a partner.

Rock's career has been marked by groundbreaking achievements, including a historic $40 million Netflix deal for two standup specials in 2016. His 2023 Netflix special, Selective Outrage, made history as the platform's first global live-streamed event.

A four-time Emmy winner, Rock earned accolades for The Chris Rock Show, Kill the Messenger, and Bring the Pain. He also holds three Grammy Awards for his iconic comedy albums Roll with the New, Bigger & Blacker, and Never Scared.

In addition to his on-screen work, Rock is set to direct and star in Misty Green, an original script he penned. He is also attached to direct the U.S. remake of the Oscar-winning Danish film Another Round and a Martin Luther King Jr. biopic produced by Steven Spielberg for Universal Pictures.

Rock recently served as executive producer and narrator for Everybody Still Hates Chris, a reimagined animated version of his hit sitcom Everybody Hates Chris, now streaming on Paramount+. His recent acting credits include the Netflix film Rustin and Season 4 of FX's Fargo.

He remains represented by Untitled Entertainment and Yorn, Levine, Barnes.
