Yahya Abdul-Mateen II’s Production Company, House Eleven10, Signs First-Look Deal With Sony Pictures TV
Emmy-winning actor Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and his production company, House Eleven10, have inked a multi-year first-look deal with Sony Pictures Television. The partnership will focus on developing scripted drama series for streaming and cable.
Abdul-Mateen launched House Eleven10 in 2021, naming it after his childhood home in Oakland. Under this new deal, his first project is an adaptation of Ghostman, Roger Hobbs’ bestselling novel. Abdul-Mateen will star as the lead—a fixer with 48 hours to recover millions from a failed casino heist while evading deadly threats.
Expressing his excitement, Abdul-Mateen stated, "House Eleven10 is a place where creativity is limitless, and we couldn’t have found a better home than Sony to bring our vision to life." Sony’s EVP of Drama Development, Andrew Plotkin, praised Abdul-Mateen’s storytelling abilities, calling him a visionary who elevates every project.
Beyond this deal, Abdul-Mateen is set to appear in Marvel’s Wonder Man on Disney+ and has wrapped filming Man on Fire for Netflix. His expanding slate also includes By All, Emergency Contact, and I Helped Destroy People.
With House Eleven10 and Sony backing his creative vision, Abdul-Mateen continues solidifying his impact in Hollywood.
