Ryan Coogler’s Sinners premiered on April 18 and made box office history, garnering critical acclaim for its heartfelt story, homage to blues music and U.S. Black Southern culture, captivating cinematography, sound design, and the actors who brought it all to life. Coogler takes us back to 1932 in the Mississippi Delta, with some of the liveliest church-going, harmonica-blowing, juke joint-jamming sinners thirsting for a holy oasis in bottles of whiskey and corn liquor at Smoke’s and Stack’s Club Juke. While bloodthirsty vampires threaten to drag them to the underworld, the film reminds us that the devil has no dominion in holy waters, as the sinners journey through and between the secular and sacred, baptizing souls with corn liquor, pure spiritual milk, pickled garlic, and the Lord’s Prayer to repel the dominion of the evil vampires.

Michael B. Jordan is hot off the press tour for ‘Sinners,’ where he stars as the leading men for Coogler’s groundbreaking movie that has audiences raving and anticipating more of Jordan on the big screen. Now, the award-winning actor is set to direct his second feature film, ‘The Thomas Crown Affair,’ to be released by Amazon MGM Studios on March 5, 2027. Jordan will also star in the film opposite Taylor Russell in this reimagining of Norman Jewison’s original 1968 movie of the same name, which starred Steve McQueen and Faye Dunaway. 

Taylor Russell has been cast as the leading lady in Michael B. Jordan’s upcoming reimagining of The Thomas Crown Affair. Jordan, who will both star and direct, selected Russell after an extensive audition process that included a screen test in London. Production is set to begin this summer in the UK.

Outlier Society, the production company of actor Michael B. Jordan, is partnering with Christopher McQuarrie, known for his work on the Mission: Impossible franchise, to produce a new action thriller called ‘Iron Curtain.’

Amazon Studios has secured the rights to The Dwelling, an unpublished short story by Aaron Jayh. Michael B. Jordan and Liz Raposo’s Outlier Society will produce. Jordan potentially starring in the lead role.
