King Bach, Karlous Miller, Tony Baker, Brett Gelman, Ari Dayan, Tara Terry Added To The Cast Of Horror Comedy, 'Haunted Heist'
The upcoming horror-comedy Haunted Heist is gearing up to bring laughs and scares with an impressive lineup. Led by Lil Rel Howery (Get Out) and Tiffany Haddish (Girls Trip), the film has added an ensemble cast including Andrew 'King Bach' Bachelor (The Babysitter), Karlous Miller (Wild 'N Out), Brett Gelman (Stranger Things), Ari Dayan (Entitled), Tony Baker (One of Them Days), and newcomer Tara Terry.
Marking Howery's directorial debut, Haunted Heist follows four estranged friends who reunite at a seemingly ordinary house. Unbeknownst to the group, one friend plans to steal a valuable antique. Their heist takes a chilling turn when they discover the house is haunted, forcing them to put aside their differences to survive a night filled with mischievous spirits.
Produced by Sean King O’Grady (I Love My Dad), Josh Feldman, Jesse Ford (Mr. Crocket), and Howery himself, the film boasts a talented production team. Executive producers include Feras M. Shammami, Priscilla Ross Smith, and Kendall Anlian. James McMillan (Twisted Metal) serves as Director of Photography, with Shane Patrick Ford (The Mill) handling editing.
The Coven, known for handling sales on The Terrifier franchise, is managing worldwide sales for the film. This marks The Coven’s second production venture, following the Canadian exorcism thriller Shadow of God, set to premiere on Shudder in April 2025.
“Casting stand-up comedians was crucial to me,” Howery shared. “I believe some of our greatest actors come from the stand-up world, whether in comedy or drama. I wanted to showcase that range in this film by blending horror and humor.”
With its mix of comedy heavyweights and a chilling premise, Haunted Heist promises to be a thrilling addition to the horror-comedy genre.
