Trailer And Release Date Revealed For Psychological Thriller ‘Both Eyes Open’ Starring Gail Bean And Taye Diggs

The gripping psychological thriller Both Eyes Open, starring Gail Bean (Snowfall) and Taye Diggs (The Best Man), is set to hit select U.S. theaters on January 17, 2025, via RodFather Productions.

Directed and written by Ariel Julia Hairston (The Comeback), the indie film explores the chilling aftermath of abuse. Bean plays Ally, a woman attempting to rebuild her life after an abusive relationship. However, her journey is disrupted by unsettling hallucinations and cryptic messages that hint her abuser might still be lurking. As paranoia builds, Ally discovers the shocking truth might be closer than she imagined.

Joining Bean and Diggs are a stellar cast, including Joy Brunson (This Is Us), Christie Leverette (You’ll Never Leave Me), Tristan Mack Wilds (The Wire), Michael Oloyede (This is Paradise), and Carla Fisher (The Boss). Filmed in Atlanta earlier this year, the project was produced by RodFather Productions and Oasis Ave Films, with Roderick McClure, Joshua Ferrell, Hairston, and Bean serving as executive producers.

Bean, known for her dynamic performances in Snowfall and P-Valley, continues to make waves with roles in Netflix’s The Piano Lesson and the upcoming season of Harlem on Prime Video. Meanwhile, Diggs, celebrated for his work in All American, Private Practice, and stage productions, adds another compelling role to his diverse portfolio.
