Tracy Morgan Set To Lead New NBC Comedy From ‘30 Rock’ Team

NBC has officially ordered a pilot for a new single-camera comedy starring and executive produced by Tracy Morgan. The project reunites Morgan with his former 30 Rock collaborators, including co-showrunners Tina Fey and Robert Carlock, along with writer Sam Means.

In the series, Morgan will portray a disgraced former football player determined to restore his reputation. This marks NBC’s first pilot order of the season. More to come.
