Mahershala Ali Will Star in Bassam Tariq’s ‘Your Mother Your Mother Your Mother’

Two-time Academy Award winner Mahershala Ali is set to star in award-winning director Bassam Tariq’s forthcoming film ‘Your Mother Your Mother Your Mother,’ produced by Amazon MGM Studios’ Orion Pictures. While much of the plot remains undisclosed at this time, Ali will reportedly play an assassin grappling with loneliness in this highly anticipated, action-packed film. 

Fans are excited to see Ali star in such an intriguing role, with many expecting him to show his emotional depth like never before. 

The quote “your mother, your mother, your mother” is an Islamic teaching about honoring one’s mother. According to the Daily Hadith Online, it reads, “A man asked the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, “Who is most deserving of my good company?” The Prophet said, “Your mother.” The man asked, “Then who?” The Prophet said “Your mother.” The man asked again, “Then who?” The Prophet said, “Your mother.” The man asked again, “Then who?” The Prophet said, “Your father.””

Ali’s portrayal in ‘Your Mother Your Mother Your Mother’ is expected to blend themes of action, isolation, introspection, and the enduring power of love between a mother and child.
