Eva Longoria To Produce & Direct Spanish-Language Americas Version Of ‘Call My Agent!’

Eva Longoria

Mediawan, Elefantec Global, and Eva Longoria's UnbeliEVAble Entertainment have announced that they will be working together to produce a Spanish-speaking Americas version of the popular French series, ‘Call My Agent!.’ Longoria will not only produce the show as the founding CEO of UnbeliEVAble Entertainment, but she will also direct the first two episodes of the series.

Longoria is no stranger to the entertainment industry, having more than a dozen TV series director credits under her belt. She recently made her feature directorial debut with Flamin’ Hot, which premiered at the SXSW festival. Longoria said that she has been a huge fan of the original series since its debut and is excited to bring this satirical look at the entertainment industry to the Spanish-speaking American market.

Elefantec Global CEO Pepe Baston also expressed his excitement, saying that the show would have "Latin flavor" and be made for a global audience. The original French version of Call My Agent! aired on France Télévisions for four seasons with record audiences before being acquired by Netflix and achieving international fame. The series has already been adapted for a number of other territories, including Turkey, the UK, and most recently Italy, by Mediawan subsidiary Palomar.

Mediawan CEO Pierre-Antoine Capton expressed his enthusiasm for the project, stating that working with Longoria and Baston was a unique opportunity to create an innovative and premium adaptation of the series. The French creators were able to bring this "funny and moving gem" to life, and Capton believes that with the talents of the new team, the show will continue to travel to audiences worldwide.

Overall, this partnership promises to deliver a fresh and exciting take on the popular series, and with Longoria's experience and leadership, it is sure to be a success. We can't wait to see the final product and enjoy this new version of Call My Agent! with a Latin twist.
