Boots Riley’s ‘I Love Boosters’ Casts Keke Palmer, Naomi Ackie, LaKeith Stanfield, And Demi Moore For NEON

Boots Riley, the visionary director known for Sorry to Bother You, has teamed up with Neon for his next film, I Love Boosters. The film is set to begin production this fall and has already secured a star-studded ensemble cast. Keke Palmer, Naomi Ackie, LaKeith Stanfield, and Demi Moore are confirmed, with more casting announcements expected soon.

The film will be produced by Aaron Ryder and Andrew Swett for Ryder Picture Company, alongside Allison Rose Carter and Jon Read of Savage Rose Films. Mike Jackman and Gus Deardoff are attached as executive producers. Neon is financing the film in partnership with Waypoint Entertainment and has acquired worldwide rights, handling both production and international sales.

Keke Palmer, who recently shined in Jordan Peele’s Nope, will bring her dynamic presence to the film. She’s also known for Alice and Hustlers, and her book Master of Me is set to release soon.

Naomi Ackie, celebrated for her portrayal of Whitney Houston in I Wanna Dance with Somebody, joins the ensemble. Ackie’s breakout role in Lady Macbeth earned her the British Independent Film Award for Most Promising Newcomer, and she stars in the upcoming Mickey 17.

LaKeith Stanfield, a frequent collaborator with Riley, most recently starred in The Book of Clarence and The Haunted Mansion. He also executive produced Apple TV+’s The Changeling.

Demi Moore, best known for iconic roles in Ghost and G.I. Jane, recently appeared in Feud: Capote vs. The Swans and is earning praise for her performance in the horror film The Substance.

Neon, fresh off the success of the horror hit Longlegs, continues its run of highly anticipated projects. Savage Rose Films, known for its work on Everything Everywhere All at Once, has solidified a new partnership with Neon, ensuring that I Love Boosters is in strong creative hands.
