We are looking forward to the prequel spinoff series of ‘Bridgerton’ called ‘Queen Charlotte',’ which is set to release on May 4.

The first trailer for the series has been released, giving viewers a glimpse of what they can expect from the show. Drama, love, and frustration seem to be on the horizon as the series follows Queen Charlotte’s rise to power and prominence. The show will focus on how the young queen’s marriage to King George sparked both a great love story and a societal shift, creating the world of the Ton inherited by the characters in Bridgerton.

Queen Charlotte will feature a star-studded cast, with Golda Rosheuvel reprising her role as Queen Charlotte, Adjoa Andoh returning as Lady Agatha Danbury, and Ruth Gemmell as Lady Violet Bridgerton.
