Tony Rock’s Debut Comedy Special ‘Rock The World’ Set To Hit Network Streamers November 5th
Comedy Dynamics has released the trailer for Tony Rock: Rock the World, comedian Tony Rock's debut special, set to premiere on multiple platforms November 5, with an album release on November 8. Filmed at The Long Beach Laugh Factory, the special dives into Rock’s insights on post-pandemic life, Black culture, gender, and relationships. Directed by Jay Chapman, the project was produced by Charleston Rock, Jaden Parrish, and Dana Marshall.
In a recent statement, Rock expressed his excitement: “This project has been a monumental endeavor, crafted during countless nights of brainstorming, rewriting, and perfecting every single bit. It’s a milestone in my career, and I believe it’s some of my best work yet.”
Comedy Dynamics CEO Brian Volk-Weiss shared his enthusiasm, describing the special as “absolutely hilarious from start to finish,” predicting it will be remembered for years.
With a career in stand-up that began in the late ’90s, Tony Rock has made a name for himself beyond being Chris Rock's younger brother. He starred in CBS’s Living Biblically, appeared in Everybody Hates Chris, and acted in films like Think Like a Man and Killing Hasselhoff. As host of the Live from the Green Room podcast, he’s also featured on All Def Comedy, The Warm Up, Black Card Revoked, and Apollo Live.
