After almost five months, the Writers Guild’s strike is now officially over as of 12:01 a.m. PT Wednesday.

After nearly five months of a strenuous strike, the Writers Guild has finally reached a tentative agreement with the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers (AMPTP). This groundbreaking development, finalized on Sunday, marks a significant turning point in the entertainment industry. The primary point of contention was the integration of AI and staffing levels in the writing rooms.

In a surprising turn of events, the production of Showtime's beloved drama series, 'The Chi,' has come to a standstill as a result of the ongoing WGA strike.
