NBC has just released a first look at the late John Amos in his final acting appearance, guest-starring in the Suits: L.A. pilot. The legendary actor, who passed away at 84, takes on a role in the new series from Suits creator Aaron Korsh. The show was greenlit in July and is set to air later this season.

John Amos, the Emmy-nominated actor best known for his roles on ‘Good Times,’ ‘Roots,’ and ‘Coming To America’ has passed away at the age of 84. His son, Kelly Christopher Amos, confirmed that he died of natural causes on August 21 in Los Angeles.
