John Amos' Final Role In NBC's Suits: L.A. Pilot
NBC has just released a first look at the late John Amos in his final acting appearance, guest-starring in the Suits: L.A. pilot. The legendary actor, who passed away at 84, takes on a role in the new series from Suits creator Aaron Korsh. The show was greenlit in July and is set to air later this season.
Amos plays himself, appearing as a client of Ted (played by Stephen Amell), a lawyer with whom he shares a longtime friendship. While his role wasn’t intended to be part of a recurring arc, there was potential for more appearances. Unfortunately, with his passing, this will remain his sole episode.
As of now, NBC hasn’t confirmed if the episode will be dedicated in honor of Amos. His final film role was in 2023’s The Last Rifleman, written by Kevin Fitzpatrick and directed by Terry Loane.
