Samuel L. Jackson, Andra Day, And Edgar Ramirez To Star In Action Comedy ‘The Honest Liar’

Samuel L. Jackson, Oscar-nominated star of Pulp Fiction, teams up with Andra Day (The United States Vs. Billie Holiday) and Edgar Ramirez (Emilia Perez) for the upcoming action-comedy The Honest Liar. Directed by Wayne Kramer (The Cooler), the film follows Jackson as Nick DeFranco, an award-winning actor facing jail time after falling for an undercover police sting. To avoid prison, Nick takes a deal to teach rookie undercover cops how to convincingly act like criminals.

The Honest Liar is being introduced to buyers at the American Film Market, with Altitude managing international sales and CAA Media Finance handling domestic rights. Produced by Dan Grodnik (Fast Charlie) and Jeffrey Reisner under Golden Eagle Movie Studios, filming is set to begin early next year.

In the film’s storyline, Nick’s unexpected alliance with a rookie officer pulls him deeper into a dangerous undercover mission, putting both their lives at risk. Producer Grodnik expressed excitement, saying, “The Honest Liar grabbed me from the first page, and with Samuel L. Jackson as Nick, it’s going to be a must-see.”

The film also involves executive producers Gail Thackray and Tracy Beam.
