‘Diddy: The Making Of A Bad Boy’ - Peacock’s New Documentary Exposes Sean Combs’ Rise And Fall

Peacock has unveiled the trailer for its upcoming documentary, Diddy: The Making of a Bad Boy, set to premiere on Tuesday, January 14. This 90-minute special offers an in-depth look into Sean “Diddy” Combs’ journey from his early days to his transformation into a music mogul—and the controversies that have now overshadowed his career.

The trailer opens with candid insights from individuals closest to Diddy, addressing his current legal troubles, which include multiple criminal charges and over two dozen lawsuits. The documentary aims to explore both the forces that shaped Combs and the decisions that led to his downfall, prompting viewers to reconsider the persona behind the music.

Featuring exclusive footage of Diddy’s personal and professional life, the special includes interviews with key figures from his past: childhood friends, a former bodyguard, and a “Making the Band” winner. Al B. Sure!, Diddy’s former labelmate and Kim Porter’s ex-partner, breaks his silence for the first time.

The documentary also delves into Combs’ ongoing legal challenges. Arrested on September 16 in New York, he faces charges of racketeering, sex trafficking, and transportation for prostitution. Currently in custody and denied bail, his trial is scheduled for May 5.

Produced by Ample Entertainment, Blink Films, and FGW Productions, Diddy: The Making of a Bad Boy promises a revealing look at one of the most polarizing figures in music. Executive producers include Ari Mark, Phil Lott, Sumit David, Stephanie Frederic, Laura Jones, and Justine Kershaw, with Sara Lavery serving as co-executive producer.

Mark your calendars for this gripping documentary on January 14, exclusively on Peacock.
