Brandon T. Jackson & Jamie Chung Join Added To The Cast Of ‘I’m Beginning To See The Light’ Drama

L to R: Brandon T. Jackson, Jamie Chung

Abbie Cornish and Jack Huston are about to be joined by Brandon T. Jackson and Jamie Chung in the upcoming drama film "I’m Beginning To See The Light" directed by Konstantin Khudyakov. The movie follows the story of Ezra, a jazz trumpeter who is grieving the tragic loss of his wife and daughter. As he seeks purpose and salvation, he is mistaken for the new lighthouse keeper and meets Hannah (Cornish), a local school teacher, who reignites his passion for life through ethereal music.

Chung plays Sarah, the wife of Ezra and mother of their 10-year-old daughter, who loves her husband deeply but is angry about the time and energy he pours into a career that no longer supports them. Meanwhile, Jackson plays Sam, a bass guitarist who has not recovered from being replaced in his band and losing his girlfriend. After befriending Ezra, a friendship between the two musicians grows.

Mark Bacci, the writer of "Prisoner‘s Daughter," wrote the screenplay, with Khudyakov being the story writer. Bacci also serves as one of the executive producers, with Pavel Khudyakov producing the film under Calabasas Media. Rich Mento is handling the casting duties, with production expected to begin this spring.

Chung is a well-known actress, having voiced Disney movie "Big Hero 6" and appeared in TV shows such as "The Gifted" and "Lovecraft Country." She is also set to star in the upcoming comedy feature "The Reunion." Jackson, who has taken a five-year hiatus from acting, is best known for his roles in "Tropic Thunder," "The Percy Jackson franchise," "Tooth Fairy," "Lottery Ticket," and "Big Mommas." He is also in development on an original action-comedy feature titled "Detroit City Cop" in which he wrote and will star in.

The film promises to be a compelling drama with a talented cast and crew, and we can't wait to see what they bring to the screen.
