‘Bad Boys 4’ Confirms Official Release Date

Sony’s Blockbuster Franchise, ‘Bad Boys 4’ is scheduled to hit theaters on June 14, 2024, coinciding with Father’s Day weekend. The film reunites stars Will Smith and Martin Lawrence as Miami detectives Detective Mike Lowrey and Detective Marcus Burnett, respectively. Tasha Smith joins the cast, replacing Theresa Randle, and will portray Theresa Burnett. The film is directed by Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, who also directed “Bad Boys for Life” (2020). Chris Bremner pens the script. Additional cast members include Paola Núñez, Vanessa Hudgens, and Alexander Ludwig in undisclosed roles.

“Bad Boys 4” continues the story of Miami detectives Mike Lowrey (Will Smith) and Marcus Burnett (Martin Lawrence), following the immense success of the franchise, which has grossed over $840 million across its first three films. The third film, “Bad Boys for Life,” earned $426 million worldwide, becoming the highest-grossing movie in the series.
