Her longstanding overall deal with Warner Bros. TV is set to conclude at the end of May. The five-year agreement, signed in 2018, was valued at approximately $100 million. TV, her next destination for television endeavors remains undisclosed.

DuVernay's collaboration with Warner Bros. TV began when the studio was led by Peter Roth. Over the course of their partnership, she successfully sold and produced eight series. Notably, Roth has since become a board member at DuVernay's ARRAY, further strengthening their connection. With her WBTV deal nearing its conclusion, DuVernay has been actively involved in the post-production of her upcoming film, Caste. The project features an impressive cast including Vera Farmiga, Niecy Nash, Nick Offerman, Jon Bernthal, Audra McDonald, and Connie Nielsen. The talented director is currently devoting her attention to the world of feature films.

While DuVernay has yet to disclose her plans for her next television deal, she has recently been involved in several exciting projects. Additionally, she served as the creator and executive producer of Home Sweet Home, a social experiment series on NBC.
