WME, one of the world's leading talent agencies, has just signed an exciting new talent for US representation - Layton Williams. Williams, a British actor, writer, and stage performer, has been making waves in the entertainment industry and is quickly becoming one of the most sought-after talents in the UK.

Currently starring in the fourth season of BBC Three's state school comedy series Bad Education, Williams not only acts in the show but is also a writer. He has been playing the role of Stephen Carmichael since the first season and even appeared in the 2015 film adaptation. The show, created by Jack Whitehall, aired for three seasons between 2012 and 2014 before its recent revival.

Williams' impressive portfolio of TV and film credits includes Beautiful People, Benidorm, The Cleaner, Murder They Hope, and I Hate Suzie. However, his career began when he was only 11 years old and starred on stage in Billy Elliot: The Musical, making history as the first Black actor to play the title role. He has since starred in numerous West End shows such as Thriller Live, The Car Man, Hairspray the Musical, and Rent. Most recently, he played the title role in the 2021 film Everybody's Talking About Jamie.

In addition to his acting career, Williams is also developing a slate of projects at major studios in the UK. He is managed by 42 and represented in the UK by Curtis Brown.
