Omarion Set To Star As Charming Hitman In Drama Series, ‘Wild Rose’ From Allblk

Omarion is set to star as a complex hitman in Wild Rose, a new original series from AMC Networks' Allblk. Created by Deji LaRay (Johnson, Escaping Paradise), Wild Rose centers on Roosevelt, known as "Rose," a professional assassin raised in a family that operates a nonprofit organization as a front for a high-profile hit squad.

Rose’s world is upended when his wife and daughter vanish without a trace, sparking a mission to uncover their fate. As he digs deeper, he becomes ensnared in a maze of secrets that test his loyalty and identity within his own family.

“This role is unlike any I’ve ever taken on,” Omarion shared, expressing excitement about his upcoming performance. “I’m thrilled for Allblk fans and beyond to see me in a new light.”

Production for Wild Rose begins in November in Los Angeles, with Omarion and LaRay executive producing alongside Michelle Le Fleur. Brett Dismuke, Nikki Love, and Kate Farrell represent Allblk's executive team, with Dale S. Lewis and Erik White directing.

Dismuke, Allblk’s head of content, expressed enthusiasm for Omarion's involvement, calling him a "quadruple threat." He noted that Wild Rose aligns perfectly with Allblk’s mission as a platform dedicated to Black creators and dynamic storytelling.

Omarion first gained fame as the lead vocalist of B2K before launching a successful solo career and acting in projects like You Got Served and Fat Albert. Wild Rose joins other Allblk series like Double Cross, Terror Lake Drive, and A House Divided, cementing the platform’s role in Black-led entertainment.
