Natasha Rothwell brings her comedic genius to Hulu this fall in the new series, ‘How to Die Alone,’ which premieres on September 13th. Since her captivating appearance on HBO’s ‘Insecure,’ fans have begged for Rothwell to star in her own comedy series, and Onyx Collective and Hulu have answered the call! As Onyx Collective reports, Rothwell created this series for the “unhealed version of herself.”

In the trailer for ‘How to Die Alone,’ Rothwell plays the character Mel who is on a journey of perseverance through life’s disappointments, pits… and falls. She follows her inner voice to create and live the life she wants despite her finances, her family’s opinions of her, and her self-proclaimed laughable love life. Friendship, love, freedom, and second chances at life surround Mel on her journey as she reintroduces her new and improved self to her community. And, her employment at JFK airport is confirmation that she is ready to take her life to new heights.
