‘Lawmen: Bass Reeves’: Premiere Date For David Oyelowo Drama Coming To Paramount+

David Oyelowo, the cannon-slinging lawman, takes center stage in the exhilarating teaser trailer for "Lawmen: Bass Reeves," set to premiere on November 5 exclusively on Paramount+. This Taylor Sheridan-produced anthology series promises to be a gripping journey through the life of Bass Reeves, portrayed by Oyelowo, as he rises from enslavement to become the first Black U.S. marshal west of the Mississippi.

Bass Reeves, despite his remarkable career that saw him apprehend over 3,000 outlaws, grappled with the profound moral and spiritual toll the badge placed on his beloved family. "Lawmen: Bass Reeves" delves deep into his story, shedding light on the complexities of his life in the Wild West.
