Kevin Hart’s ‘Die Hart’ Series To Return With Season 3 At Roku After Record Premiere Weekend

Die Hart 2: Die Harter | The Roku Channel

Roku has just announced that it will be renewing Kevin Hart's comedy series, Die Hart, for a third season. This news comes on the heels of a record-breaking premiere weekend for Season 2, which debuted on March 31 and nearly doubled the first season's opening weekend audience. According to Roku, Die Hart 2: Die Harter became the No. 1 Roku Original TV series weekend premiere of all time in terms of both unique views and streaming hour engagement.

Die Hart follows Kevin Hart's character as he tries to become the greatest action star of all time. In Season 2, Kevin has developed a concept for a revolutionary movie where the action is so unscripted and unexpected that even he won't know what's coming next. However, Kevin soon finds himself the victim of an evil revenge plot orchestrated by someone from his past, and he must enlist the help of his favorite co-star, Jordan King (played by Nathalie Emmanuel), his over-eager assistant, Andre (played by Ben Schwartz), Andre's mom, Cynthia (played by Paula Pell), and legendary Hollywood stuntman Mr. 206 (played by John Cena) if he wants to survive.

Hart expressed his excitement about the renewal, stating that Die Hart is one of his favorite projects to act in and produce. He also promised that Season 3 will be even bigger and better than the previous seasons.

The executive producers for Season 2 were Hart, Jeff Clanagan, Candice Wilson Cherry, Bryan Smiley, Thai Randolph, Mike Stein, Luke Kelly-Clyne, Kevin Healey, Ty Walker, Tripper Clancy, and Eric Appel. It is currently unknown who will be executive producing for Season 3 or who else will be joining the cast.

Die Hart is available to stream exclusively on Roku. Fans of the series can look forward to more action-packed and hilarious episodes when Season 3 premieres, although a specific release date has not yet been announced.
