Jordan Peele Releasing Two New Movies In 2024; One Set For Christmas Day

Jordan Peele, the renowned horror/sci-fi filmmaker, will be releasing not one, but two movies in 2024. The first movie, a horror thriller, is set to release on September 27 under the banner of his production company, Monkeypaw Productions. The second movie will be releasing on Christmas Day the same year, which Peele will be directing himself.

While the details regarding the third film remain under wraps, it is known that Peele's sci-fi movie, Nope, was among the last blockbuster releases of summer 2022. The movie opened to a whopping $44.3 million at the box office and went on to gross $123.2 million domestically and $171.2 million worldwide.

This is not Peele's first foray into the horror genre, having already directed two successful horror movies - Get Out and Us. Get Out, made on a modest budget of $4.5 million, grossed $225.7 million worldwide and won Peele an Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay. Us, which was produced on a production cost of $20 million, grossed $256 million worldwide.
