Foxx's medical condition has not been disclosed by his family, and the public is left to wonder about his health. However, it has been confirmed that Nick Cannon will step in as the guest host for Foxx on the game show Beat Shazam, which Foxx had been hosting previously. The show is set to air on May 23 and is filmed in Ireland.

Fox Entertainment released a statement saying, "Beat Shazam has been an unscripted mainstay on the Fox schedule for six seasons and counting. This season, not wanting fans of the game show to miss a minute of the fun, Nick Cannon has offered to fill in as a guest host for his friends, Jamie and Corinne Foxx. Kelly Osbourne will be filling in as a guest DJ. Everyone at Fox Entertainment wishes Jamie well as he continues his recovery, and we greatly appreciate Nick's willingness to jump in and help this summer."

As Foxx continues to recover, his fans and well-wishers hope for his quick and complete recovery. Foxx has won several awards for his performances, including an Academy Award for Best Actor, and his fans eagerly await his return to the screen.
