Actor Garfield Wilson Added To The Cast Of ‘Reginald The Vampire’ For Season 2 On SyFy

Syfy's popular series, ‘Reginald the Vampire,’ has added a talented actor to its cast. Garfield Wilson, known for his role in Peter Pan & Wendy, has been chosen for a key recurring role in the show.

In Reginald the Vampire, Wilson will portray Balestro, a confident and poised Angel with an intimidating presence. His character descends from heaven with a solemn purpose - to announce the eventual extinction of all vampires on Earth. With his immense power and determination, Balestro will stop at nothing to accomplish his goal.

The series, based on Johnny B. Truant's book series, centers around the protagonist Reginald Andres, played by Jacob Batalon. In a world inhabited by beautiful, vain vampires, Reginald unexpectedly finds himself becoming an unlikely hero. He must navigate various challenges, including his forbidden love interest, a bullying manager at work, and a powerful vampire chieftain who seeks his demise. Along the way, Reginald discovers hidden powers within himself.

Joining Jacob Batalon in the cast are Savannah Basley, Em Haine, Mandela Van Peebles, Jeremiah Chechik, and Harley Peyton, among others.

Reginald the Vampire is a collaborative production involving Great Pacific Media, Modern Story Company, December Films, and Cineflix Studios. The executive producers include Harley Peyton, Jeremiah Chechik, Todd Berger, Lindsay Macadam, Brett Burlock, and Peter Emerson. Jacob Batalon also serves as a co-executive producer, contributing his creative insights to the series.

Previously, he has appeared in recurring roles on Apple's Schmigadoon! and TNT's Snowpiercer, showcasing his versatility as an actor.
